Hero: You'll never get away with this!

Villain: Oh, but I will. I will become more powerful. I will change the very nature of the world!

Hero: You want to play God!?!

Villain (goes on ignoring the Hero's question): And, when I have changed the world, the minimum wage will be a living wage and anybody who works will be able to afford a comfortable living and to build a savings!

Hero: Wait... what?

Villain: Can you see it? A world where a college education is the guaranteed right of anybody, regardless of financial conditions, paid for by a progressive tax structure!

Hero: I can, actually.

Villain: It will be glorious! No one will, ever again, be denied the possibility of their ambitions on the basis of class or race again.

Hero: Which side am I fighting for again?

OMG. OMG. Let me guess. Just, like...let me guess...

Did you create this as an ironic satire to how Hollywood's [usually white] heroes are always somehow never really for the real-life underdog (for example, they're for the oppressed white male geeky nerd...but never for the actually oppressed brown Muslim woman). And thus, they merely reinforce the status quo...

...While, usually, the villain they fight is seeking to upend the status quo and actually help simply by definition of being in opposition to the hero?

Did I get that right? Because this is just sick clever right here! Gah! :D :D :D

Ohh...opps. You know, THAT is sick clever, too. Like, really really sick clever. I think you're right that it applies to ATLA. Uhh...tried to read the 1st Game of Thrones book & couldn't get past the third page, I think. Let alone even tried to watch the series.

But this is still so awesome and insightful! :D
