I wonder if it's as much that the epsilon and delta workers are seen as being beyond rising out of their class due to the damage inflicted on them?

Not only a dedication to the class structure in itself, but a dedication to making sure nobody can mess up your 'perfect' order.

It creeps me out endlessly when someone chooses their perception over the reality of what's there. /sigh
