It's a point to say that Bernard, himself, in terms of maturity *is* a teenager. He's a teenager who's thinking in different terms, trying to get into deeper terms but not really knowing how.

And, yes, the music is what might be described as "relentlessly upbeat"... which isn't always a good thing.
