First off, thanks for the wall-o-text. I don't just do this for the sound of my own text, so thank you very much.

Speaking as a fish swimming in a sea of privilege, yeah, there's a lot of truth to what you say. Even now, after a good load of correction on the matter, I have to force myself to accept the inconvenient narratives (including that the problems didn't all happen centuries in the past).

Although, being that my ancestry includes Scottish and German lines, I also know that privileged groups can absorb others into the privilege, absorbing the narrative as well as taking on allies.
