This post is for a list of terms and words that are useful in conversing with me. This post will be the only post with the tag "Glossary" and posts that contain words and phrases that I explain and/or coin will have the tag "Encyclopedia". I will edit this post for ease of finding the words and phrases along with simple definitions and links to the posts that give greater detail.

Benign Violation Theory, The: The theory of comedy whereby "funny" is achieved through a combination of a violation of some sort (expectation, social norm, etc.) while the audience feels no threat or injury. https://wingedbeast.dreamwidth.org/93752.html

Moral Hubris: The belief that one's self, side, and/or Tribe are inherently good, thus requiring evil be done. http://wingedbeast.dreamwidth.org/25040.html

Political Correctness: Refers to that which, independently of accuracy or moral righteousness, is the correct thing to say/do to achieve the social and/or politically preferred result. http://wingedbeast.dreamwidth.org/13388.html

Schrodinger's: An adjective indicating the noun could be any number of a set of conceivable options, thus making the noun, in terms of how one responds to the noun, all the options at once. http://wingedbeast.dreamwidth.org/16941.html
